Pedal feels soft or sinks
Air in the system, a leak, or a master cylinder. That is a safety problem, not a comfort problem.
Steering wheel shakes when you brake
Warped or uneven rotors. Common after hard highway stops on 22 and 78. We measure runout instead of replacing on a hunch.
Car pulls to one side
A seized caliper or collapsed hose. Fixing only the noisy side is how you are back in two months.

Depends on thickness and surface. We measure both sides, show you what we see, and quote the honest option. No pad-slap on a rotor that is already too thin.
Can brake work be same-day?
Most pad and rotor jobs in Union are same-day or next-day if the parts are on the truck. Call first and we will hold a bay.
Is the work warrantied?
Yes. Parts and labor on the brakes we install. If something we did acts up, bring it back.
Can you pick the car up if it is unsafe to drive?
If our truck is free we will grab it in Union, Hillside, or Elizabeth and it comes straight to the bays. Call the shop and we will tell you straight.
