Battery &
electrical
A no-start is not automatically a battery. We load-test the battery, check the alternator, and look for a drain before we sell you the part that was already fine.

Battery testing and replacement
Load test first. If it is dead, we replace it. If it is being murdered by a drain, we find that.
Alternator and charging
Voltage, ripple, and belt condition. A good battery will not save a dying alternator.
Starters and no-starts
Click, silence, or a slow crank: three different jobs. We test before we pull the starter.
Parasitic drains and wiring
The light that will not go out, the module that stays awake, the ground that corroded through a Union winter.
Sound familiar?
It cranks slow or not at all
Battery, starter, or a bad cable. A ten-minute test at the shop beats a parts-store battery you did not need.
Battery dies overnight
Something is staying on. We measure the drain and chase the circuit instead of selling you a bigger battery.
Lights dim while you drive
Charging problem. Do not wait until you are stuck on 22 at dusk.
Random electrical weirdness
Windows, locks, radio, or a cluster that lies. Often a ground or a failing module. Diagnosis first.
Free computer diagnostic scan
With a qualifying repair. Additional diagnostic labor may be required depending on the concern.

FAQ — ELECTRICALCan you jump me and send me on my way?
We can get you started. If it died once it will die again unless we test why. Ask for the test while you are here.
I already bought a battery. Will you install it?
Ask when you call. We would rather test the system first so you did not just buy the wrong part.
My car is dead in the driveway. Now what?
Call the shop. If the truck is free we pick it up in Union or the next town over and it comes straight to a bay.
Is electrical work same-day?
Battery and alternator jobs often are. Intermittent drains take longer because they have to show themselves. We will give you an honest timeline.
